TPU (65D)
Thermoplastic Polyurethane – 65D Shore Hardness
Eco-Friendliness: 🍁 🍁 ☆ ☆ ☆ (2/5)
Recyclability: Not commonly recyclable; specialty recycling may be required
Product Features:
Semi-rigid with limited flexibility
High toughness and impact resistance
Excellent abrasion and wear resistance
Good oil, grease, and chemical resistance
Higher stiffness and load-bearing capability than softer TPU grades
Excellent durability and fatigue resistance
Best use for:
Protective housings and durable covers
Wheels, rollers, and wear-resistant components
Flexible mechanical and industrial parts
Bushings, mounts, and vibration-resistant components
Parts requiring toughness with moderate flexibility
How to dispose:
Not recyclable in standard municipal systems
Check for specialty TPU or thermoplastic recycling facilities
Reuse or repurpose parts when possible
Otherwise, dispose as regular waste
