1. 📦 Where do you ship?

Multiply Parts currently ships throughout Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

All shipments include tracking and are carefully packaged to help ensure your parts arrive safely.

Multiply Parts manufactures and ships from Canada. Unless otherwise specified, our prices do not include duties, taxes, customs fees, or import tariffs that may apply at the destination. Any applicable import charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

2. 🛒 Can you ship directly to Amazon FBA?

Yes. We can ship your products directly to Amazon FBA fulfillment centers across North America and Europe.

Simply provide the required Amazon FBA shipping information and labels when preparing your order, and we can manufacture, package, and ship your products directly to the designated fulfillment center.

This allows you to use Multiply Parts as part of your manufacturing and fulfillment workflow without first receiving and reshipping the inventory yourself.

3. ⏱ What is the typical production lead time?

Production lead times depend on the quantity, material, part complexity, machine availability, and any post-processing or assembly requirements.

Typical production times are:

1–10 parts: approximately 24–48 hours
10–50 parts: approximately 3–5 business days

For larger production runs, we can also provide:

  • Partial shipments — receive completed parts while the remainder of the order is still in production.
  • Scheduled production — establish recurring manufacturing and delivery schedules based on your requirements.
  • On-demand production — manufacture inventory according to actual demand rather than maintaining large quantities of finished products.

Lead times are confirmed when your order is reviewed.

4. 🖨️ What 3D printing technologies do you offer?

Multiply Parts currently specializes in FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) additive manufacturing.

By focusing our production infrastructure on FDM, we can optimize our equipment, processes, materials, and automation for consistent quality, high production capacity, and competitive pricing.

Our FDM capabilities cover a wide range of materials, from standard PLA and PETG to ASA, ABS, flexible TPU, and engineering-grade carbon-fiber-reinforced materials.

5. Do you offer DMLS metal, SLS powder, or SLA resin printing?

We currently focus exclusively on FDM manufacturing and do not produce DMLS, SLS, or SLA parts in-house.

If one of these technologies is better suited to your application, we can help direct you toward specialized manufacturing partners when appropriate.

6. 📐 What file formats do you accept?

We accept common 3D model formats used for additive manufacturing, including STL, 3MF, and OBJ files.

For the best results, files should be production-ready and correctly scaled before uploading.

If your model requires adjustments before manufacturing, contact us and we can review the project with you.

7. 🔢 Is there a minimum order quantity?

No.

Multiply Parts was built around flexible manufacturing. You can order a single prototype, a small batch, or move into recurring production without committing to large minimum quantities.

As quantities increase, production efficiencies may also reduce the cost per part.

8. 🏭 Can you handle production runs, not just prototypes?

Absolutely.

Multiply Parts is designed for commercial 3D printing and short-run manufacturing, not only prototyping.

We can support projects from initial prototypes through small production runs and recurring on-demand manufacturing. Our production infrastructure allows successful products to scale without requiring molds or traditional tooling.

9. 🔄 Can you manufacture my products on demand?

Yes. On-demand manufacturing is one of our core services.

Instead of manufacturing a large quantity and storing it in a warehouse, your products can be produced according to actual demand.

This can help reduce inventory requirements, upfront manufacturing commitments, and the risk associated with maintaining slow-moving inventory.

10. 📬 Can you ship products directly to my customers?

Yes.

Multiply Parts can provide direct-to-customer fulfillment, allowing us to manufacture, package, and ship products directly to your customers.

This can be particularly useful for online stores, product designers, startups, and businesses that want to outsource both manufacturing and fulfillment.

You sell. We manufacture. We ship.

11. 🧩 Can you help improve my part for 3D printing?

Yes. If a design needs modification for more efficient or reliable additive manufacturing, our team can review it from a Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) perspective.

Depending on the project, this may include evaluating orientation, supports, wall thickness, tolerances, material selection, strength, print time, and opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs.

12. 🧪 What materials do you offer?

We manufacture with a growing selection of materials for different mechanical and environmental requirements, including:

PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS, TPU, PC-CF, PA612-CF and other engineering materials.

Material selection depends on factors such as strength, flexibility, temperature, UV exposure, chemical resistance, impact resistance, and the intended operating environment.

13. 🔍 What is a Part DNA Report?

Our Part DNA Report provides digital manufacturing traceability for parts produced by Multiply Parts.

Depending on the production workflow, Part DNA can record information such as material identification, production parameters, individual units, manufacturing events, quality checks, processing history, and other production data.

It creates a manufacturing history that can help with quality control, troubleshooting, repeat production, and documentation.

14. 🇨🇦 Where are your parts manufactured?

Our parts are manufactured by Multiply Parts in Canada.

Keeping production in-house gives us greater control over manufacturing processes, quality, scheduling, and traceability while allowing us to respond quickly to changing customer requirements.
